All adoptions include: spay/neuter, distemper and rabies vaccination, deworming and an application of flea prevention.  FIV/Feline Leukemia testing is available for a fee of $15.  

Meet Elijah, Eli to his friends, one of the kindest, sweetest, gentlemen at the shelter.  Eli was born at the shelter 4/17 and adopted 8/17. Unfortunately, one of his little humans developed severe allergies and the family was forced to return him 11/23.   

Eli is an old soul, so calm and wise. He looks at you with those gorgeous green eyes and you know you’re in the presence of an amazing feline! He wants to be with you and will follow you around, waiting for you to settle down so he can get comfortable on your lap. He would do well in any home where he is loved and pampered. Initially, you will need to go slow, but when he realizes he’s safe and trusts you, he’s all over you! He’s in a room with other cats and doesn’t seem to be bothered by his roommates.

Elijah is loved by all of us at the shelter and we all want to see him find a fantastic, loving, forever home.

UPDATE (2-28-24) Elijah was adopted in 2017 as a kitten but was returned 7 years later due to allergies. He is losing weight and becoming depressed at the shelter. He needs either a Foster Home or a new Forever Family. Contact us through our Facebook Messenger or at www.felinecaninefriends.org.
